"Like magic people started to learn by themselves, established best practises and training manuals and became masters at STOCKY SWING! Given the freedom to improvise and lead, you guys took the ownership and went after the numbers, getting branch after branch started up as if these were just plants to be sowed on the highway! More
So, where we are today?... at 223 branches on STOCKY SWING and 1111 sellers on handhelds. An unthinkable achievement made possible only due to the army of incredible people we've had...think about it, its almost starting one branches every day in the nine months since October ! Isint that incredible?
That to me is the power of our people. The power of positive attitude, aggression combined with a desire to win is what has moved mountains and made things possible. Each one of you takes so much pride in your performance, collaborates so well with the site teams and just "gets the job done" with minimal fuss. Thats what I call a "great team". A team of champions. Thats what you are.
I want to personally thank each one of you on the Botree Team for the commitment you have shown on the project, your personal leadership in acting as agents of change and all the sacrifices you have made for making this project a roaring success." |

Hi Friends, Its been a while since we communicated and I was waiting
for the right opportunity to come to you guys with real news !!! That
moment came yesterday at a meeting of the entire P&G IT team in
Asia.
We had the CEO of P&G in Asia and the Asia IT Leader recognizing
and awarding us for the SWING project. More We got awards in 3
categories:
- ‘Innovation
, Stretch and Speed’ award i.e. developing a high quality software that
perfectly fits our distributor needs, stretching ourselves and
implementing the solution in a quality way in so short a time.
- ‘Building the Business’ award ( Creating Value) - using the data delivered by the software to grow the business.
- The "CIO's choice" ‘Best Project of the Year’ award - SWING was the best run among all the IT projects in Asia.
We
had the entire P&G Asia team looking at us in awe and it was real
proud moment for Prem, Udayan, Kshitij and myself. The dream and vision
we set for ourselves a year back was to deliver a world class software
for our distributors that was "Fast, Friendly and Reliable" and that
would not only help make it easy to control distributor operations but
also help grow the business...and we're doing just that.
Majority of our distributors are thrilled to have STOCKY-SWING working
and yes, the business is growing ...growing big time ... with Botree's
SWING being a huge enabler in growing distribution.
We're the first company to do a project of this magnitude and YOU have
made HISTORY. Its an absolutely incredible achievement and something
you should all pat yourselves for. I've heard a lot of stories of your
commitment, dedication and attitude that have "made things happen" even
when things at the branch were not ready. I haven’t heard you complain
or give out excuses. You have just continued to perform site after site
with clockwork precision. That really is the ability of a champion and
each one of you really is a true one.
Lastly, I want to let you know that you guys at Botree are a superb
bunch to work with and its an absolute pleasure to be leading such a
team. Keep it going guys. You are making a huge difference for P&G
and I really appreciate your efforts. I am looking to your continued
enthusiasm and cooperation in making this project an even better
success not just at an Asia level but at a GLOBAL level. I hope we will
complete the implementations on time and have the world looking on us
with admiration and applause.
I also want to call out the Botree development team for their effort in
helping develop a wonderful product SWING and supporting the sites all
through the last 6 months. You guys are doing a great job and I hope
version 2.15 will take this a notch higher. Please write to me if you
need any help or think you have suggestions to make this product even
better. |

"...just to make you aware of the magnitude of the achievement, let me
put some figures that will make you sit up and take notice. In the 60
days since starting the implementation (October 1st), we've covered 60
branches which means 1 branch per day!!! More
Also, when we did a similar implementation with IDS / MARS (read
'legacy systems') we took nearly 8-12 months for about 60 sites. So
we're going at Formula 1 speeds and more so, we're doing a quality job
as well.
This has been possible due to some amazing commitment shown by each one
of the Botree implementers in training, stabilising and handholding
sites. I also want to acknowledge the Botree Call Centre for its effort
in giving the implementation team the support it required. Hats off to
the entire team. Great job!" |
